Thirty students from the evening intensive program at Unidad Educativa Andrés Bello graduated as high school graduates of the Republic of Ecuador, according to a March 24 announcement. The ceremony recognized the effort, perseverance, and personal growth shown by the graduates in reaching this academic milestone.
The intensive program is designed for individuals who did not complete their schooling earlier, highlighting that education remains an ongoing opportunity to transform lives and achieve new goals.
Elizabeth Delgado, rector of the institution, said: “Each one of our students represents a story of overcoming obstacles, demonstrating that it is never too late to learn and transform one’s own life.”
Student voices were also heard during the event. Angie Burgos, named best graduate of her class, said: “This achievement is not only mine but also the result of support and trust from those who have been fundamental in my education. Today we close an important chapter and begin a new path full of opportunities.”
The ceremony was marked by moments of emotion and pride for both students and faculty. For many graduates, this marks a turning point as they look ahead to further personal and professional challenges.
A representative from the Subsecretaría de Educación, Deporte y Cultura reaffirmed commitment to quality education that is inclusive and transformative so more students can finish their studies and build better futures.
