The Superintendencia de Compañías, Valores y Seguros announced on April 13 that its Regional Directorate of the Stock Market will launch a new virtual training program focused on investment instruments and market dynamics.

The initiative aims to strengthen financial education by providing participants with key tools to better understand how the stock market operates and what opportunities it offers. The program is part of ongoing efforts by the institution to promote knowledge in economic and financial matters among the general public.

The training will last four weeks and include four modules, open to all citizens regardless of prior experience in finance. Sessions will be held virtually through Teams from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. The schedule includes an introduction to the stock market on April 17, financing and investment alternatives on April 24, fund managers and investment funds on May 8, and fiduciary business topics on May 15.

Participants must complete all modules to receive a certificate of participation. Registration is open until noon on May 15 via this link: https://forms.gle/SY2wD7SiBzC7XP5s7.

According to the announcement, “Con este tipo de iniciativas, la Superintendencia de Compañías, Valores y Seguros busca no solo difundir conocimientos técnicos, sino también contribuir al desarrollo de una cultura financiera más sólida en la sociedad.”
