In 2025, the Servicio de Rentas Internas (SRI) of Ecuador, with support from the national government, provided services to 14,861 citizens through its mobile brigades. These brigades were present at 820 events held across various provinces and cantons in the country. The initiative aims to increase SRI’s territorial reach and encourage the formalization of economic activities. Additionally, it focuses on sharing information about available benefits and incentives as well as promoting tax education for voluntary compliance with tax obligations.
