The Internal Revenue Service (SRI) has increased its oversight efforts since June of this year to ensure that all taxpayers comply with their tax obligations.

According to a recent announcement, these intensified control processes have resulted in the collection of USD 172 million. The SRI stated that the goal of these actions is to verify correct compliance with tax duties across all contributors.
