The Servicio de Rentas Internas (SRI) announced on April 1 the launch of new digital tools designed to help accountants and legal representatives manage their relationships with the tax administration more efficiently.

The SRI said these new features aim to strengthen transparency in the tax registry and expand access to digital services. The first tool, a module for managing accountants, allows professionals in this field to handle their links with the administration through an online platform.

A second tool now available is a consultation service for legal representatives. This feature enables users to obtain a consolidated report listing all companies where they currently serve or have previously served as legal representatives.

To use these services, users must log into SRI en Línea at www.sri.gob.ec with their username and password, then select “Gestión de contador y representante legal” under the RUC section.

With these updates, SRI said it is advancing its efforts toward modernizing digital services while promoting safer and more transparent tax management.
