Pronaca and the Banco de Alimentos de Quito (BAQ) have renewed their partnership, continuing a collaboration that has lasted 23 years. The agreement aims to support food security by rescuing food, reducing waste, and providing safe and nutritious meals to families in need.

Over the course of this partnership, Pronaca has donated more than 250,000 tons of animal protein. These contributions have allowed BAQ to deliver over 2 million food rations, benefiting approximately 82,000 people.

The renewal of this agreement is intended to strengthen ongoing joint efforts focused on solidarity and community well-being. At an anniversary event marking the occasion, Pronaca volunteers took part in activities involving the rescue and sorting of food.

During the same event, BAQ presented Pronaca with a special recognition for being one of the first companies to support BAQ since its founding and for actively contributing to efforts against hunger in Ecuador.

“We renew our collaboration agreement with the Banco de Alimentos de Quito (BAQ), reaffirming a 23-year alliance that has promoted food rescue, reduced waste, and provided access to safe and nutritious meals for thousands of vulnerable families,” stated representatives from Pronaca.
