Pronaca participated in the International Economic Forum Latin America and the Caribbean 2026, which was organized by the Development Bank of Latin America and the Caribbean (CAF). The company took part in the “Ecuador–Panama Meeting: Trade, Investment, and Binational Integration,” a high-level public-private session focused on strengthening economic ties between Ecuador and Panama and exploring new opportunities for regional cooperation.
The event was promoted by the Ecuadorian-Panamanian Business Council (CEEP), which includes Pronaca and Toledano|Pronaca as members. Government officials, business leaders, and representatives from key industry groups in both countries attended the meeting. Discussions centered on bilateral trade, regional integration, and developing productive chains with an emphasis on shared economic growth.
During the forum, agreements were signed between the governments of Ecuador and Panama. Cooperation pacts were also established among the Ecuadorian-Panamanian Business Council, the Panamanian Industrial Union, and the Panama Chamber of Commerce. These actions underscored private sector support for advancing bilateral economic integration.
A representative from Pronaca commented on the significance of these initiatives: “We emphasize the importance of these spaces to consolidate the regional projection of companies from our country in Central America. Our presence in Panama through Toledano|Pronaca has allowed us to strengthen productive capacities, transfer technical knowledge, and develop linkages that expand Ecuador’s trade reach toward Central America and the Caribbean, taking advantage of Panama’s strategic position as a logistical and commercial hub.”
