Ministry seeks technology specialist for educational investment program

The Ministry of Education, Sports and Culture has announced an open call for the position of Technology Specialist within the Executing Unit (UEP) of the Annual Educational Investment Program.

This opportunity is aimed at professionals who hold a third-level degree in systems, information technology, or telecommunications. The degree must be registered with Ecuador’s National Higher Education Information System (SNIESE). Applicants are required to have at least eight years of professional experience.

Key technical requirements for candidates include knowledge of legal regulations related to the National Education System, participation in at least two projects connected to technological infrastructure, security, or monitoring of public technology projects, and experience in managing incidents, requirements, and problems. Familiarity with agile methodologies and understanding of regulations and management tools from multilateral credit organizations are also necessary. Additionally, applicants should have experience coordinating teams for public investment projects funded by international loans.

The monthly compensation for this role is USD 2,142.02 under a professional services contract.
