Ministry seeks specialists to strengthen pedagogical support in national education

The Ministry of Education, Sport and Culture (MINEDEC) has announced an open call for professionals to apply for the position of Pedagogical Support Specialist. The initiative is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen training processes and promote continuous improvement within the national education system.

Applicants are required to hold a fourth-level degree in Education, which must be officially registered with SENESCYT. Candidates must also have at least six years of professional experience in the educational field.

Specific qualifications include knowledge of public sector regulations in education, teaching or related educational experience, and familiarity with educational processes such as planning and designing educational models. Additional requirements involve project management in education, technopedagogy, curricular planning, development of courses across different formats (in-person, blended, virtual), academic coordination, instructional material design, classroom experience, research activities, and educational management.

Interested individuals should submit their resume and supporting documents in PDF format via email to formarparatransformar@educacion.gob.ec. The subject line should read: “Especialista de Acompañamiento Pedagógico.” The deadline for applications is January 25, 2026.
