Roberto Kury, Minister of Telecommunications and the Information Society, visited the Civil Registry Agency in Salinas, Santa Elena province, to review the quality of services provided to citizens. During his visit, he checked procedures such as obtaining national ID cards, birth certificates, civil marriage registrations, and passport enrollments.
From January to November 2025, the Salinas Civil Registry Agency processed over 29,000 citizen requests. This figure reflects the government’s commitment to delivering efficient and secure public services.
Kury also announced that, following President Daniel Noboa’s directive, the Civil Registry will extend its service hours nationwide until March 31, 2026.
