The government of President Daniel Noboa has increased payments to the Society for the Fight Against Cancer (SOLCA) and dialysis clinics, according to a recent announcement. From January to October 2025, the Ministry of Economy and Finance disbursed a total of $145.7 million to these healthcare providers. This amount is $28.9 million higher than what was paid during the same period last year.

According to the statement, “In this way, we maintain medical care for patients receiving specialized treatments at SOLCA and dialysis clinics.”

These payments are part of ongoing efforts by the government to prioritize healthcare services for Ecuadorians.
