The fair “A Space for Early Education” was held with the aim of strengthening educational processes for young children. The event brought together local authorities, teachers, children, and parents in an environment focused on play, exploration, and meaningful learning.

The opening ceremony included participation from Alexandra Jara, governor of the province, and Johanna Sánchez, district director of Loja at the Ministry of Education, Sports and Culture. Both emphasized the importance of creating opportunities that support comprehensive development from early childhood and acknowledged the roles played by families and teaching staff.

Nine educational institutions from Loja took part in the event along with teachers from SAFPI services. They set up various learning corners designed to develop skills such as emotional expression, oral communication, artistic expression, recognition of Ecuador’s regions, sensory games, fine motor skills, and playful activities connected to daily life.

Children engaged in stations aimed at fostering creativity, teamwork, and autonomy. Activities included coordination circuits, guided dramatizations, painting sessions, and exercises for identifying emotions through colors and gestures. Parents participated alongside their children in workshops that strengthened family bonds and introduced practical tools for use at home.

The fair established itself as an event promoting educational practices centered on well-being, participation, and comprehensive development for children in Loja.
