Banco Pichincha has been certified as a Top Employer 2026 by the Top Employers Institute, making it the only financial institution in Ecuador to receive this distinction. The recognition places Banco Pichincha among nearly 2,500 organizations worldwide acknowledged for high standards in workplace culture, employee development, and professional growth.
The certification is based on measurable results such as achieving 100% in learning and 98.33% in employee listening. These outcomes highlight a culture that focuses on personal development and decision-making that takes into account employee feedback.
“More than a seal, being a Top Employer is the reflection of the passion with which we live and build our culture every day; an achievement that belongs to all of us,” said José Luis Muñoz, Vice President of Human Talent.
The evaluation by the Top Employers Institute uses a global methodology covering six strategic domains: Steer (direction), Shape (structure), Attract (talent attraction), Develop (development), Engage (engagement), and aspects like ethics and inclusion. Each domain includes specific metrics:

The certification process involves several steps: initial analysis of company structure and objectives; completion of a comprehensive survey covering all areas of talent management; validation through third-party audits requiring documentary evidence; and finally benchmarking against national, regional, and global standards.
